The Berkel 827A manual, gravity-feed slicer features a hollow ground, chromium- plated carbon-steel knife and built-in, dual-action sharpener with convenient handle located on the sharpener cover.
The 827A is for those who slice approximately 3 to 4 hours per day, and the carriage handles food up to 10 3/4" wide, by 7 5/8" high, or 7 3/8" diameter.
The Berkel 827A has a 1/2 HP motor. The permanent, tapered guard on the 827A covers the non-slicing portion of the knife even when the sharpener and center plate are removed. The 45 degree table on the 827A makes product feed easier, creating more consistent and uniform slices with less waste. The 827A has a compact, space-saving design ideal for limited kitchen counter space.
This 827A is suitable for slicing a moderate amount of cheese and is ideal for small restaurants and diners. Unit is easy to clean and disassembles quickly without tools.
The 827A is ETL and NSF listed.
