Metal shower diverter valve push button chrome 1/2" tub
Diverter valve attaches between standard 1/2" shower arm and the shower head.
EASY finger tip PUSH BUTTON control.
Allows water to flow through shower head or be diverted through the hand-held shower spray.
Tools needed: Wrench or pliers, steel wool , rags, pipe compound or TEFLON tape.
IMPORTANT!!- Always protect parts with a heavy cloth when using wrench or pliers.
1. Remove existing showerhead, Clean threads with steel wool.
2. Apply pipe compound or TEFLON tape to threads of shower arm.
Attach shower diverter to shower arm, making sure washer is in place, tighten securely.
3. Apply pipe compound or TEFLON tape to showerhead connection and replace your showerhead. Hold shower diverter so that it remains in proper position. Connect hose to lower outlet on valve.
