Minolta MS3000 microfilm/microfiche viewer/scanner 3000

Minolta MS3000 Microfilm Scanner
We did power it on, and immediately the lamp inside came on very brightly. I inserted a slide projector slide under the glass and was able to look at it well and zoom in and out and to focus properly. The image looked good, as you can see in the photo below. I was able to rotate the image also. I did notice that it looks like there is a small black plastic piece or similar that is broken on the inside of the screen. But it wasn't in the way of the image and shouldn't affect usability at all. I couldn't get the autofocus or the focus buttons to work, but it does focus manually just fine. We do still guarantee it to be as described and pictured, and to function as stated.
This unit has a connection on the back for connecting to a printer or similar. It includes the holder for microfiche as well as the rolls for microfilm. The microfilm holder is a manual type, and appears to work well, but we didn't test it with film. There is a little bit of tape on the lens, not exactly sure why. The serial # is 31004184 and the counter on the unit is at 027366.
