The pouring ammeter Ramsey Granuflow DTR131Z is ideally suitable for the flow monitoring of bulk materials of all kinds when mechanical transport and pneumatic promotion.
The DTR131Z works like a binary switch, i.e. he recognizes the two conditions "flow of material" /"keine flow of material" and announces material blockage or stop of the promotion immediately.

The DTR131Z optimizes the employment of machines and energy by purposeful switching on and off of process cycles.
The DTR131Z is on Microwellenbasis of based flow alarm units and measures the doppler frequency produced by the moved material.
The Gunn diode sends a weak continuous Microwellensignal, which is reflected by the moved bulk material.
The reflected radiation has a doppler frequency, which is proportional to the speed of the bulk material. The DTR measures the strength of the doppler signal and can thus between moved and motionless bulk material differentiate.
The DTR131Z works contactlessly from Microwellenbasis. The advantages are:
1. one of the process which can be supervised removed assembly.
2. through contactlessly monitoring is a wear of the sensor impossible and a reliable and maintenance-free function of the DTR 131Z ensured.
Measurement into closed processes
Microwaves can penetrate through non conductive materials, like plastic, glass and ceramic(s), without considerable power losses.
This permits the monitoring to the DTR also during closed processes
(e.g. high pressure Hochtemperaturanlagen)
