The 3M 8512, N95 Particulate Respirators are designed for applications such as welding, soldering and other operations where metal fumes are present. NIOSH approved N95 gives at least a 95% filtration efficiency against solids and liquid aerosols that do not contain oil. A uniquely designed filter layers reduce the caking of particles on the respirator surface. The filter media and protective layer of the respirator are flame resistant . An adjustable noseclip, fully adjustable straps and an exhalation valve round out the functions of the 3M 8512 respirator.
