48V psu smps 1.5KW with ats+ extra charge facility
48v power supply. this very high quality German made 1500w. it also has a built in battery charging facility, which enables it to instantly switch to battery power to supply the load when the ac power is switched off, this is done with the automatic transfer switch. it has built in amp and voltage meter. there is a facility to wire in additional meters so that it can be monitored remotely (see the orange connector strip on rear of unit, in third photo). it is rack mountable or can just be placed on flat surface as cooling fan (which automatically comes on only when needed) is on the rear and ventilation through the top. was imported from Germany where they were used in the telecommunication industry and are designed to operate 24/7. they are only few years old, and cost a small fortune. might explain why mobile calls are so expensive. they are stackable if need higher greater current output so add them together. we have got a number of them if required. the power supply is highly regulated and can just be used for charging large or small battery banks quickly, will not over charge or damage batteries and can just be left on continuously. Easy to set up although is fairly sophisticated bit of kit, with battery state of charge warning lights, if the extra battery charging set of lower terminals are used, it will also the act as amps being consumed meter, when the 240v ac is switched off. they will also accept a quite varied ac input say from a generator where the voltage is higher or lower due other equipment being run at same time. if got any questions please email me or phone on 07900947962.
