The sturdy Fargo DTC515 color ID card printers offer faithful, forthright function for all of your direct-to-card printing needs. With the DTC515, you don't have to sacrifice simplicity to enjoy loads of encoding options and sharp images. Fargo offers smart card and magnetic stripe encoding modules for the DTC515, and you may choose to install a double or single-sided lamination module in the factory or later on, when your needs change. All encoding and lamination happens in one pass through the printer so that your cards land in the output hopper ready for immediate use.
The Fargo DTC515 employs RFID technology to let you know when you're running low on ink and whether or not you've installed the correct ribbon. An automatic card cleaning device keeps your blank cards spotless to ensure the most consistent print quality possible, and an access door with a window allows you to see how many cards are remaining without letting in dust. Fargo also offers a security package to help protect your printer and the cards you print, with a card hopper lock and an access system to prevent unauthorized users from printing.
