The Quick Drag Rescue tool was designed for RIT Bags or to carry in your bunker gear pockets. The oversized swing gate carabiner makes connecting to an SCBA pack or the built in harness in your partners bunker coat a breeze. Simply attach to the proper point, pull on the handle and the webbing self deploys in seconds.
Also, this tool also becomes a Heavy Duty Hose Strap which allows a firefighter to support the back pressure from a 2.5 inch or 3 inch hose, and is ideal for rural fire departments that typically run short crews. By securing one end of the strap around the hose with a simple larks foot, the remaining loop is placed around the opposite shoulder. Your shoulder supports the back half of the hose allowing you to easily flow water while maintaining control.
