The design of the binding allows the notebook to be opened flat making it easy to write from either side. I find this particular book much more satisfying to use than my PDA. It is much more organic than my handheld could ever be.

There are quite a few pages that precede the weekly planner portion; an ID page, a title page and a personal data page. There is 2-page spread which displays both 2011 and 2012 broken down by small, monthly calendars.
