Ten (10) plug thread gage set~3/8"-24 unf~>5 go~5 no go
Offered for your consideration is a set of ten (10) -24 UNF plug thread gages, five (5) GO and five (5) NO GO. They were manufactured by noted tool makers such as Pratt & Whitney, PD Co., et al. Please refer to the high resolution photos and text below for the respective markings on each one.
The gages above are all marked GO, -24 UNF, P.D. .3479. The additional markings on the gages, as viewed from your left to right, are as follows:
The gages above are all marked NO GO (or NOT GO), -24 UNF, 3B, P.D. .3516. The additional markings on the gages, again from left to right, are as follows:
These gages come from a high-tech manufacturing environment, and are in excellent condition with no excessive thread wear noted. I believe they have been regularly calibrated, as suggested by the tiny specks of protective dressing (wax or Cosmoline) visible in some of the vertical grooves, but don t know their service history. Please ask pertinent questions and I will do my best to answer them promptly.
