This is NEW, NEVER USED, IN ORIGINAL RETAIL PACKAGE, PRE-WIRED EmerGen * six (6) single-pole 125V circuits Emergency Power Portable Generator Manual Transfer Switch part number 6-7500 with capacity for one (1) two-pole 250V circuit (tie bar included) for up to 7500W generators. It can handle combined load of 60 amp with maximum of 15A per circuit (protected with built-in 15A breakers). The switch rated power is 7500 Watt but it can be used with generators rated less than 7500W or more than 7500W as long as total generator load does not exceed 7500W ( monitored by the two built in wattage meters ).

Manual transfer switches allow home owners to safely switch from the utility power to a back-up generator during power outage. The manual transfer switches are wired directly to the load center inside the home and provide a fast and easy way of connecting the generator to the home.The transfer switches are designed to handle emergency circuits only during a power outage. The switch comes complete with NEMA L14-30 female 4-prong power cord end ( retails for around $20 ).
The switch isolates the emergency circuits from the utility line allowing for efficient operation of the generator without back feeding onto the utility or the threat of the utility power back feeding your generator when power is restored. It has two built in wattage meters allowing load balancing and visually provides the generator's capacity usage. It is pre-wired to meet the Electrical Code for the do-it-yourselfer or electrical contractor to simplify and speed up actual installation. Compatible with all load centers. It comes with a approx 2 feet long interconnection flex cable (approx 4 feet wire) and a convenience outlet located right on front panel. It accepts a four (4) prong female twist lock connector configuration L14-30. The switch is CSA certified, approved by E.T.L. (Electrical Test Laboratory, U.S.A.), meets UL requirements and NEMA 1 rated. Outline dimensions are 10 x 9 x 4 inches.
