This glove is built with a Keystone Pattern. Drivers gloves that normally sell in this price range use a Straight Thumb pattern. A Keystone pattern uses more leather to build each glove but the user can fully open his hand. A Straight Thumb pattern restricts the hand so that the thumb cannot be opened full span. The pigskin leather that is used in this glove is tougher than split cowhide. Pigskin breathes better than cowhide leather due to the holes left after the removal of the bristle. After getting wet, pigskin does not turn hard after drying, as in cowhide. Pigskin leather is used in the manufacturing of the seat in horse saddles. It has also been used for many years in the production of Hush Puppies footwear. The gloves in this series are color coded to size with a wrist binding. Color codes for all sizes is as follows
