18 blue splash marans fertile hatching eggs
For your consideration, I am listing 18 Blue Splash Marans Fertile Hatching eggs. These are both Blue Splash Copper (larger blue spots) and Pure Blue Splash (white with very small blue spots). With the Splash Copper you might get some roosters with copper in their feathers. I call these my red, white and blue roosters. They are beautiful and everyone notices them before anything else I have. The hens usually do not have copper, just the beautiful large blue spots. I am getting more than a dozen eggs per day.
These are truly beautiful birds. My pictures do not do them justice. They are very good layers of nice medium to dark brown eggs. They are mild mannered birds and truly beautiful to look at. Most of my hens have feathered legs, a few do not. However, feathered legs is a dominant trait, so breeding my feathered leg roosters to non feathered hens will get you all feathered legs if that is what you are breeding for. My roosters all have very nice feathered legs.
I feed all my birds on Game Bird Starter until they are full grown, then gradually switch them to 20% Lay Pellets with Oyster Shell and Game Bird Conditioner with Vitamins and Electrolytes added. This makes for very fertile, healthy hatching eggs.
Please let your eggs settle, when they arrive by unwrapping the eggs, placing them in a carton, big end up and letting them settle overnight or at least 8 hours before putting them in your preheated incubator. This will help your hatch rate considerably. If you have questions, please let me know and I will try to help, if I can.
