A market leader in the laser industry, Hilti recently introduced the revolutionary PD 20 Laser Range Meter to an ever-growing line of Hilti Positioning Systems. While "greatly extending" the range of traditional measuring tools, the PD 20's state-of-the-art design and components make measuring easier, quicker and more precise -all with the simple push of a button.
With the PD 20 Laser Range Meter's extensive capabilities, two-person jobs of the past are one-person jobs of today. Designed specifically to increase jobsite performance and productivity, the practical PD 20 is extremely fast and highly accurate over the entire measuring range. Plus, the PD 20 helps to eliminate costly rework projects - saving you additional time and money.
It provides quick readout of your measurements - even in poor lighting conditions. The PD 20 also features an integrated calculator for instantly determining area and volume. While storing the previous four measurements, the integrated calculator allows the operator to instantly recall measurements and determine the cubic area of a project on the display. A "pythagoras" key allows the user to quickly measure even the most difficult jobs such as: height of utility poles or other inaccessible structures - any 90 angle allows the user to take a measurement. Layout work is a snap with the "constant on" measuring feature.
The PD 20 requires only two AA batteries & employs an easy-to-navigate keypad . It also features a modular target so that you can build your own to fit each specific measuring application. The PD 20 is also easily mountable on a moveable "camera-action" tripod - making multiple measuring jobs a snap!
