Lens not included. The Sony SSC-E453 is a 1/3-inch CCD security camera built into a slim and lightweight housing. Sony designed this camera to be very low light sensitive even under unusual light sources. An industry standard CS- type lens mount allows for the largest selection of industrial lenses, everything from ultra-wide to super telephoto and even zoom lenses can be obtained with this mount. The camera has all the standard exposure compensation features like back-light, auto gain and auto white balance control so images appear clear and distinct, just as surveillance video need to be.
The SSC-E453 has a 1/3-inch CCD chip that incorporates some 380,000-picture elements. With the ATW Pro and ATW functions a wide range of light temperatures can be dialed in. The camera can recognize lighting from 2000 K (like sodium high pressure fixtures in parking lots) to 10,000 K. Colors will remain consistent, natural and identifiable for your security needs.
The SSC-E453 camera has a Digital Signal Processor technology which delivers not only versatile functionality but also high stability and reliability. This Digital Signal Processing circuit provides Video Noise Reduction especially in low light level conditions.
The SSC-E453 has circuitry for exposure compensation even when using manual iris lenses. The CCD chip automatically increases or decreases accumulation of the light as a mechanical shutter would allow light to pass through. The CCD Iris can act as a shutter with speeds ranging from 1/60 to 1/100,000 seconds.
