Item offered in the Zeiss Ikon catalog in 1938
You would hold the handles and place your forehead into the viewing area. It has a fitting for the tripod (not included) on the bottom. The item has no glass or optics. Label attached states "Use no more than 12 volts AC" .
I have not tested the motor for operation. The only cleaning of the item I did was with a soft brush, no chemicals.
The serial numbers prefixed with a W were reserved for various cinematic and projection apparatus and some larger scale accessories such as the Flektoskop and Panflex attachments for reflex photography.
Unknown if this scope operates as intended.
