If you are a fan of "boat anchor" and vintage broadcasting gear, from transmitters to receivers to ground up theory, this 1935 pliable cover book, which is a very lengthy 758 pages long, is for you!
Nice white pages, no underlining that I can see.
The pictures shown are from a slightly later edition, but about what you'll find in this classic.
This book is chock full of Western Electric gear, some great RCA gear too, but the WEco gear is everywhere, especially in the areas of broadcast and studio gear, aviation transmitters and receivers, marine radio and more. I don't know that I have ever seen a book with this much assorted Western Electric gear in it!
A few of the many things I like about it:
1. Lots and lots of big, fold out schemtics and circuits, much of it WEco gear.
2. The very large number of pages means this covers it all, from tube theory to aviation to marine, but mostly about broadcasting gear, transmitters to receivers to the studio gear.
3. The great pictures of the above mentioned gear, please see pictures.
4. It includes short wave and ultra-short wave.
This is a book on Radio Communication, by several authors, and in good shape for the age. White pages, no underlining, and fabulous contents.
This is perfect for all fans of Western Electric gear from their classic age...for boat anchor radio fans...and vintage pro audio fans.
