* A completely closed housing, automatic clot and tip loss detection, as well as sample tracking makes the MagNA Pure LC Instrument a true "Walk-Away" instrument.

* The protocol can be edited using a simple "drag & drop" method and stored for later use.
* If the PCR reagents have been set up prior to the start of the nucleic acid isolation procedure, the protocol can be run automatically after the isolation has been completed.
* Since the protocol is stored on the computer's hard disk, it can also be performed and repeated at any other time.
