PYE TVT 10 KILOWATT FM BROADCAST TRANSMITTER LDM1233
This FM Transmitter was originally used by the BBC in Scotland for Radio 2, 3 and 4 services. It was taken out of service some years ago and has been in storage since.
The LDM 1233 operates on the FM broadcast bands between 88 and 108 MHz and provides a power output of 10 kW. The transmitter is fully solid state except for a Thompson TH399 high gain tetrode. The Transmitter sits in a single free standing cabinet allowing easy access to all areas. (No exciter is supplied. It needs about 35 watts to drive it.)
The transmitter is supplied with air ducting, filtering equipment and manuals.
