If you need to fasten something to concrete, brick, or block, it doesn't get much easier than this. Drill a 5/16" hole, insert the anchor, and drive the pin flush. Voila - you're done!
Need even more versatility? There's another way to use these if you want the fixture to be easily removable. Drill the hole, separate the 2 parts of the anchor, insert the plastic part of the anchor into the hole, position the fixture over the hole, and drive the steel pin flush. Then if you ever need to remove the fixture, all you have to do is unscrew the pin, leaving the plastic portion of the anchor embedded in the hole for easy re-use.
