The latch on the battery is broken so you will need to tape it in or get a new battery
The battery latch on the scanner is OK.
Part of the gasket is missing in the front of the scanner as shown in the second photo.
I charged the battery and it took a charge. The geen light when on on the charger bay and they powered the scanners.
