Every Pfankuch feeder is delivered with batch count capability. Not only can every feeder count, using a single cell miss & double detect system, but an internal encoder even learns and checks for attributes common to each product (e.g. filled paper common in security printing or the portion of envelopes where 5 layers overlap) to ensure that an accurate count is achieved every time.
The fastest counting method is the "Batch Drop" which uses electromagnetically operated "bomb bay doors" which support product from the left and right. When the feeder completes the count it awaits the trigger signal which opens the batch drop. As soon as the doors close the feeders initiates the next count. This mechanism is perfect for relatively rigid items.
