Colostrx Plus Product Description
Colostrx Plus Provides 55 grams of globulin protein and other essential nutrients to supplement maternal colostrum. Add on package (454 grams) to 1.5 Quarts of lukewarm water or colostrum and stir until mixed. Administer as a first feeding within 6 hours of birth, then follow normal feeding program. Follow label directions.
Colostrx Plus is a product designed to supplement a cow's colostrum when the calf is unable to suckle the dam or colostrum is unavailable or of poor quality.
Calves may not obtain enough nutrients from colostrum if the calf is weak or cannot nurse from the dam. Maternal colostrum may also contain insufficient amounts of protein and other nutrients for optimum calf nutrition and health. Colostrx Plus supports good calf health by providing high quality protein and other essential nutrients to get calves off to a good start.
1. Empty the entire contents of this package into a pail
2. Add approximately 1 to 1.5 quarts of lukewarm (120 F) water or colostrum and mix well
For best results, administer with a nipple pail, nipple bottle or esophageal feeder within four hours of birth (immediatly if practical). Be sure that the calf consumes the entire contents. Follow normal feeding program after Colostrx Plus is administered. Do not store reconstituted product.
