rubber shear mounts vibration isolation lot of 500
Lord rubber shear mounts. J-17113-2.
These are 4 inches in diameter and about 2 & 1/4 inch tall. Stud is 1/2 inch fine thread and other side has female thread. One hex nut included with each mount.
UPDATE 1-6-10 - Lord Corp has not answered my emails but I have learned the rubber compound is Lord "BTR IV" broad temperature range. Catalog research suggest closest civilian part number is J5682-1 with compound OR, "oil resistant elastomer".
That part number's specs are Shear -225 lbs max static load and 900 lb/in spring rate, compression 2700 masx static load and 6900 lb/in spring rate.
Govt. NSN states ends use was for something on the M1 Abrams, and to hold containers in back of military trucks.
I have a lot of about 440 of these. Each in its own cardboard box. Been stored well. no water damage.
