* Powers up and spins at a high speed. Unit's timer switch was replaced at some point with an on/off toggle switch and the toggle is spinning in its mounting (but still works fine when toggled). The finish on the inside under the rotor is chipping off and exposing the metal underneath, which has a general surface rust coating. It's not pretty, but if you just need a basic centrifuge, this might be the one for you.
