When properly fitted, cartridges and filters help provide protection from most chemical contaminants making it easy to standardize 3M face pieces as your brand for respiratory protection. Used with appropriate cartridges for various applications including spray painting, lacquering, petrochemical and chemical manufacturing, pesticide spraying and agriculture for concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half face pieces or 50 times PEL with full face pieces
NIOSH approved for environments containing certain oil and non-oil based particles.
Use with 3M Respirators 5000 Series or 3M Cartridges 6000 Series, and 3M Filter Retainer 501.
3M 5P71/07194 P95 Particulate Filter is NIOSH approved: P95
Has at least a 95% filtration efficiency against solid and liquid aerosols including oils. Sold as a box of 10 filters.
The 3M 5P71 P95 Particulate Filters are NIOSH approved for protection against solid and liquid particles - including those that contain oil.
P95 respirators filters are NIOSH certified to have filter efficiency level of 95% or greater against oil and non-oil based particulates.
The 3M 5P71 respirator filter can be used only with 3M respirators, including the 3M 6000 and 7000 series respirator facepieces.
May also be used in addition to a 3M respirator cartridge when attached with a 3M 501 adapter.
Often used in spary painting environments.
Requires 3M 501 Filter Retainer to attach to chemical cartridges
