This item is used but is in great condition. The pictures really do not do it justice. The hard nylon tool holder in the back is handy and the depressor/touch checking button on the top front center is not clearly shown as being in contact with the indicator. It registers readings very clearly on the Mitutoyo, in both inches and millimeters (resolution to 4 decimal and 2 decimal places respectively) , and should be adjustable for various settings with fixture changes.
The unit is well built of high grade steel and weighs 17 pounds. Guaranteed not to be DOA. I will include an additional 4 new batteries for the indicator since I was impressed with how well it worked.The Mitutoyo Model 543-135B indicator's serial No. is 600681. The Howell Tool & Gage Fixture reference is No.1061238, Operation No. A 3351.
The fixture is 6 3/16" tall and is 6" by 3 7/16" at the base. The top flat surface is square at 3 3/8" by 3 3/8". I hope someone can put this slick little unit to good use again.
