You are purchasing 170 volume hardcover book collection of CORPUS JURIS SECUNDUM law books. This set includes 170 volumes, 1 supplement to a volume, and a 5 volume index. Some of these books were copyrighted 1938 with supplements dated 1958, and other books are dated 1951 or 1956, and the supplement for volume 72 is dated 1975. A 5 volume index is also included for easy look-up of required legal material. Please view the pictures to see exactly what book volumes are included. This set appears to be complete, or mostly complete, and includes all the numbers from 1-101 without skipping any... however I am unsure if all the A, B, or C volumes that were part of the set are included.
This collection of law books was previously used at a law firm, and has the past owner's info stamped inside. The pages are tanned from age, and only some of the Cumulative Annual Pocket Parts are included (this is a staple-bound insert that is included with these books, and is removable for easy access to this reference. There may be some notes to the text, but generally, the text is clean and very good. The covers show mild wear, some show discoloration or fading, and some of the books have creased/bent spines and/or covers from past poor storage. Just a few books have some water staining/damage. All these books are very usable, very readable.. For the age, these books look good and are a very impressive collection to add to your bookshelf.
