The TAFA Arc Jet System Model 851 is a new concept in arc wire spraying
whereby both the particle velocity and concentration of the spray stream
have been dramatically increased. The high velocity, tightly focused spray
produces superior coatings, higher deposition efficiency, and substantial
savings in labor and materials. The arc sprayed coatings are similar to
plasma sprayed coatings, however with the new system, these plasma-like
coatings can be produced in much less time and at the fraction of the cost.
