Mold release parting agent extends mold life 12 oz can
PARTING AGENT - 12 OZ AEROSOL CAN
Mold release, parting agent, 12 ounce can. This is a great mold release. It is specifically optimized for releasing urethane resins from most any kind of mold. Porous molds should be sealed to prevent this release from soaking into the substrate. Parts released with this product can usually be painted without any additional operations or cleaning. Do your own test as we have not tested every possible paint. This product will withstand temperatures to 575 degrees F.
Use this parting agent with urethane casting foam and elastomers. You can prolong the life of a silicone rubber mold by using this release agent. It does not have to be reapplied every time a casting is made. This is a new generation of aerosols that are environmentally friendly, and have much less propellant. This means that you get a lot more product for your money. Previous generations of aerosol mold release might have allowed you to get an ounce or two of product per can, even if the can held 16 ounces. This new generation will give you a full 12 net ounces.
