Large flat rate box full of spanish cedar wood scrap
Spanish Cedar is a tropical hard wood. Some of the wood properties are: cell structure ranges from virtually diffuse-porous to decidedly ring-porous. The grain is commonly straight although sometimes interlocked. Spanish-cedar is worked very easily with both hand and power tools, giving good results in planing, shaping, mortising, carving and sanding. The wood is easily turned but is difficult to bore. It is used locally (tropical areas) for all purposes where an easy working, light but strong, straight-grained, and durable wood is required. Wood is resistant to termites and rot.
