This set of six Pyrex perforated plate Buchner funnels (Cat. # 6060-42X) is used. The funnels have been maintained in perfect condition. There are absolutely no breaks, cracks or chips, and the glass is nice and clear.
Two more sets of six funnels and one set of five funnels are also being made available.
These PYREX Buchner perforated plate funnels are designed for use with 42.5 mm diameter filter papers. They are suitable for vacuum filtration; however, the translucent plate should not be subjected to a pressure differential in excess of 1 atmosphere. The clear glass bodies afford visual examination during use and cleaning. The stem O.D. is 10 mm.
The striations in the pictured glass are refractive patterns created by the camera flash.
