You can pull out this upper module by pressing the locking mechanism at the back. Inside (front), you will see a 3V lithium battery installed, below it are two pieces of AA batteries, while on the right is a 1MB Flash II card installed/plugged.
Below are the details written on this flashcard;
Inside (back), is a nameplate that reads;
Upon power on, while the PSION logo is displayed, there is a message that reads "replace back-up battery" before the unit goes to its main menu as below;
Pressing any of options 1-6, will lead you to a screen of hex files with hex address on the left and 00->07 on top column. Pressing the menu to exit requires password that we do not have and so we just remove the battery to go back to the main menu all over again.
And this is only how far we can get as we dont know how to operate and the meaning of those HEX/ASCII codes. Rest assured the cosmetics is still pretty good and presentable. Full functionality is not tested and can only guarantee the unit to work as stated above.
