The GS-612 Thermal Plotter is a high resolution plotter using a direct thermal thin film printhead. It plots or prints an 11.6 inch image on 12 inch thermal media including: premium and report grade paper (roll or fanfold), clear or opaque film.
The direct thermal dry-plotting process assures uniform image density and crisp, high-clarity plots with no smearing or flaring regardless of ambient temperature or humidity.
The GS-612 has a resolution of 200 dpi and produces 8 or 16 gray shades for photographic quality plots. Digital data can be displayed in ASCII or raster form.
Plotting speed is selectable, from one to three inches per second. The GS-612 performs reliably in heavy-duty applications. It can be wall mounted or placed on a table top, and does not have to be level to plot. It is ideal for seismic quality control applications in processing centers, workstations, and in the field.
The GS-612 is easy to operate and maintain. The only moving part in the plotting process is the stepper motor. No ribbons, toners, or developers are required, and maintenance is limited to periodic printhead cleaning. The GS-612 is environmentally safe, maintenance free and incredibly reliable. It is plug-to-plug compatible with the Versatec V-80.
