The BD IMAGN system is an automated scanning cytometer that provides absolute cell counts of fluorescence labeled cells. The system rapidly delivers precise cell counts by electronically analyzing laser-generated fluorescence images of stained cells. Sample preparation is quick and easy using dedicated reagents and simple operating instructions.
Stained samples are pipetted into volumetric capillaries and then loaded into the instrument for analysis. The instrument automatically scans the capillaries, counts the cells, and reports the results. Up to 10 samples can be analyzed per run. The BD IMAGN system includes the instrument, printer, and optional bar code scanner.
