The 770A Telephone Line Simulator can simulate the worst case amplitude and envelope delay characteristics of transmission lines and can generate a number of random transmission line effects which are especially important to digital date transmission. These are Pulse Jitter, Phase Hit, Amplitude Drop-Out, Amplitude Hit, Frequency Shift, Nonlinear Distortion, Random Noise and Impact Noise.
