Oasis P8AC water cooler -- fountain -- ada compliant
This Oasis Water Cooler - Fountain came out of a Boulder office remodel this winter and is in very nice condition. ADA compliant when installed properly. Oasis P8AC D300 Model (certified lead free) - http://www.drinking-fountain.net/p8acinfo.html Refrigerant is 134A. 1/4 hp compressor - 110 vac. (See photo of label for further information on this unit).
Rated at 8 gallons per hours (at 90 degree ambient and 80 degree inlet water temp. to 50 degree water temp. (all in f.)). Or, if seasonally, your water is cool enough, simply unplug. Does not require electricity to operate water valve (per literature). May be used for both adults and children with proper installation.
Contemporary design. Four push bars - two on front and on on each side. Granite like texture - on the brown not grey side of the fence. Neutral color. Compare with Elkay cooler/fountain of similar shape and design.
Overall condition is very good. Bear in mind that it is not brand new - these is a small scuff on one side - that does not go through the paint that is visible in the first picture towards the bottom of the unit.
As you can see, the stainless is in very good shape. Cycling of the compressor seems to be fine also. When plugged in, the fan comes on and then off after a few minutes - indicating normal cooling and proper operation.
This would make a nice addition to an outdoor bbq or kitchen area (which is why we became interested in them) or would be appropriate as a replacement in a commercial situation, restaurant, bar, fraternity, sorority, summer camp, daycare center, childrens' center or similar application. Helps to cut down on unnecessary bottled water purchases and associated trash issues.
