For both analog and digital (specialized for analog) It enables programming of horizontal timing, vertical timing, output conditions and output patterns. These functions are suitable for development production and service of flat panel LCD and plasma and CRT displays. It has standard video timing preset so you can immediately work with over 40 kinds of built in patterns. It can easily be hooked up to a PC. This unit has a slight rumble in the cooling fan, easily replaceable but not even so loud as to bother anyone. I have no way of hooking it up to a PC but the unit was on display working and being used when pulled from service.
