U.s. marine navy pyrotechnic explosive storage locker

Have been told it was used on Navy vessels and that the padlock also has a 'holder' on door to keep padlock when unlocked.Still not sure what type of padlock needed.
Also door has a 'bar' to hold it in place when open.
This pyrotechnic locker was made for the U.S. Marines at Bath Iron Works in Maine.
Not sure of mfg. date, but was warehoused as excess and never used.
This locker is made out of 100% 316 stainless steel.
The 2 unpainted metal bars with nuts/bolts and the white 'cover' are gone and not part of this sale.
I have very little info on this and would appreciate any info, such as what type of lock does it use.
The locker cost 7,800.00 many years ago, and can be cleaned up like new.
All marks are either tape or stickers or dust, and rust spots are from the steel bands holding it onto pallet.
BOX ONLY MEASUREMENTS, NOT INCLUDING PROTRUSIONS (DOOR, THERMOMETER, ETC.);
INNER DIMENSIONS SLIGHTLY SMALLER DUE TO 'RIBS' AND 'BRACES'
SHELF IS REMOVABLE, BUT 'CROSSBAR' AT FRONT HOLDING SHELF IS WELDED.
THICKNESS OF WALLS IS 3/16THS OF AN INCH
4/29/2010 REVISION; THERE IS A VENT/PLUG ON BOTTOM WHICH UNSCREWS ON INSIDE BOTTOM WITH A HALF INCH WRENCH
TWO PHOTOS OF BOTTOM ADDED TODAY ALSO.
