Sdmt 1204AFPN-mj T1015 tungaloy insert
T1015 has a good balance of wear resistance and toughness. T1015 is specially designed for grey and ductile cast iron materials, and will operate best in wet cutting applications. The outer coating layer is a stable Al2O3 for high temperature operation. The special bonding layer is columnar medium temperature CVD titanium carbonitride, for improved adhesion and a special high toughness substrate. The recommended cutting speed dry is 325-650 SFM; wet is 250-500 SFM.
