These faders are used exclusively in the professional studio technology.
Everywhere where the highest quality claims are demanded like: in cinema and television, with the broadcasting service, in the concert hall, in the outside broadcast vehicle, in the recording studio, etc.

At the Fader a conductive plastic is used for the at place of the usual mixture of coal (with other substances). The resistance road is not almost thereby worn out and is very resistant to soiling, what affects again the reliability and product life.
A coreless motor is a bell anchor-direct current motor with a strong torque with minor current consumption. The rotor not consists of an iron core, but the armature winding is wrapped as a bell-shaped body. The permanent magnet (Stator) is situated within this bell. By this special construction form the usual collector as well as the detent torque are dispensed and therefore the motor works nearly wearless with an especially high quietness. Over a strap the motor brings the actuator (slider) on the desired resistance value. Of course the positioning can be carried out any time also by hand
The clou in this faders is the touch sense track, a constantly conductiv connection from max. 1Kohm, is led through by the actuator (slider) on an connection pin and is used to memorize the respective positioning of the Faders. Over a processor-steered electronics is the position of the fader evaluated and memorized. The linear resistance characteristic line of the Faders serves, e.g., of the digital volume setting and therefore can be retrieved over and over again from the memory and be used.
