Vintage watch-case style hand-held 0-35 Amp ammeter from John Pritzlaff Hardware Co., Milwaukee, WI. Believe this ammeter was to check battery amperage, possible in the day of antique battery-operated radios. Needle centers at about 2 Amperes, instead of zero. Wire is very worn, almost detached. Untested, but the needle does move with gentle motion of the unit. Pritzlaff Hardware operated from 1850 to 1958 and was possibly the largest hardware store in the Midwest.
