J-Mar/PPL LUMINA 24"x20" Video CMM/CMS Measuring System
Testing notes: we temporarily bypassed the interlock and applied power directly to the power distribution box outputs. The 3-axis modular stage drive/controller system powered on and the computer booted into Windows 2000 Professional. We started the Video CMMII software and were able to verify that the XY stage, Z (focus) stage, and motorized microscope objective turret all home and/or move on command. We were NOT able to get a live video output through the computer, and we couldn't figure out how to get the software to make a measurement. The small video monitor did give an image when an object was placed very close to the laser sensor, and the distance reading changed. No other testing was done.
