These would be handy for a lot of projects, especially where multiple speeds or multiple functions are required. The three white buttons can be depressed in any order, and also in any combination. When the red button is pushed, any (or all) depressed white buttons are raised simultaneously. Depressing any white button raises the red button. With electricity applied to the L1 terminal they work like this:
You'll get your money's worth just playing with them. Leave one plugged into the wall so the kids will have something to do after school. Don't laugh - At age four I gained a thorough understanding of electrical circuits using a bobby pin. Might want to start 'em out on 120V before you give them access to three phase!
Overall length is 3.450." Width is 1.190." body height (excluding buttons and terminals is 1.175." Terminals add .370." Buttons add .700." Terminals are standard 1/4." Motor horsepower rating is 1-1/8 HP @ 120 volt; 2 HP @ 240 VAC. 17A at both 120VAC and 240VAC.
