Wall winch framing crane / hoist / jack lifting device
The WALL WINCH has been in use for more than 25 years. The WALL WINCH is a simple device designed to raise (lift) framed walls by simply turning the winch crank arm. Easily sets up in minutes. The WALL WINCH is designed to work with construction grade lumber, either two 2x4's (1 1/2" x 3 1/2")or one 4x4 (3 1/2" x 3 1/2"), NOT INCLUDED. The heigth of the wall to be raised (lifted) is determined by the length of the 4x4 or 2x4's used, they should be approximately 1.45 x the height of the wall to be raised (example: for a 10' high wall you would use a 14'-6" 4x4 or 2x4's) User can easily raise (lift) 20 linear feet of framed wall per WALL WINCH. With multiple wall winches there is no limit to the length of the wall that can be raised (lifted).
NOTE: Construction pictures show earlier model in use, also the other pictures show WALL WINCH assembled with short 4x4 for transportation and storage.
The WALL WINCH comes as pictured, including:
1. Wall stop bracket to prevent wall from over rotating past vertical when raising.
2. Grab hook & chain on end of winch cable for quick attachment and release of top plate.
3. Chain & bracket for quick adjustable attachment and release to bottom plate & WALL WINCH. This will stop wall and WALL WINCH from sliding apart during raising (enough chain included for walls up to 14' high. For taller walls chain can easily be lengthend with a Quick-link and more chain).
4. 50' stainless steel 3/16" x 7-19 aircraft grade cable (enough cable included for wall heights up to 18', longer cables available).
