GE/AME MegaBace 1000 DNA Sequence Analyzer
MegaBACE 1000 DNA Analysis System is a high-throughput, fluorescence-based DNA system utilizing capillary electrophoresis with up to 96 capillaries operating in parallel. The system performs sample injection, gel matrix replacement, DNA separation, detection, and data analysis, offering unparralleled flexibility.
With the ability to sequence 96 samples in just 2 hours and perform up to 9 runs per day, MegaBACE 1000 is the ideal choice for production-scale sequencing projects. Average read length with dye primer chemistry is 550 bp at 98.5% accuracy with M 13 standard template. With a slower, 3-hour run time, sequences of up to 1000 bases is possible. MegaBACE 1000 can produce more than 500 samples per 9-hour day.
We have powered the unit on. Due to lack of software and knowledge no other testing has been completed. Item is in good physical condition. Does show scuffs and scratches in the plastic as pictured.
