Pendant jog mach 3 cnc usb plug & play w/zaxis touchoff
Over 15 feet of cabling included. More can be added. We ve actually had it running reliably on >200ft of cable. We used an inexpensive PS2 type keyboard cable (male to male) that can be changed to other lengths. However, the MP2 connect to the PC USB port through the supplied adapter. This removes the USB cable restriction of only 5 meters (15ft), yet the vesatility of using USB to attach to the PC.
This flexible unit is designed to allow concise control of CNC machines and is pre-configured to work with Mach3.
The rugged extruded and anodized aluminum case fits comfortably in the hand and allows single handed operation. A variety of modes support all major operations. The mode selector switch specifies the functions of the six pushbuttons.
The auto centering joystick allows control of axis/spindle/feedrate override movement. Better still, the joystick knob can be depressed to switch between incremental, slow and fast movement of each axis with LEDs indicating the currently selected mode. The unit supports a failsafe mode that prevents accidental key presses from being sent to the CNC PC.
Simple to install - just plug the pendant in to a spare USB socket on the PC that runs your Mach CNC software.
Modes (selected by the mode rotary switch):
"Zero" - Moves all axes to their zero position according to the DROs
SafeZ - moves Z axis to safe position
ToolC - moves all axes to a tool change position
RefAll - moves all axes to 'home position'
Rewind - rewinds to start of g-code file
Macro (Mac1)- initiates a user written macro.
Macro (Mac2)- initiates a user written macro.
Macro (ZTO)- initiates a built-in Zaxis touch-off routine (used with supplied ZTO module).
X/Y - joystick operates X/Y axes
Z/A - joystick operates Z and Auxiliary axes
SOvr - Spindle override - north/south on joystick overrides spindle speed
FOvr - Feed rate override - north/south on joystick overrides feed rate
Start - run the currently loaded g-code - same as Cycle Start
Pause - pause the currently running g-code - same as Feed Hold
Stop - stop the g-code run & reset tool (not to be confused with ESTOP - NOT a replacement for a proper ESTOP switch!)
Goto - the goto button performs a variety of functions, based on the position of the mode switch
Z1/Tog - Zero the X or Y axis (depending on currently selected mode) and toggle the Spindle On/Off
Z2/Res - Zero the Z or Aux axis (depending on currently selected mode) and resets the Feed Rate Override
Two green LEDs which show currently selected jogging mode (Normal/Fast/Incremental.)
One dual color LED (green/red) which shows operational status of the pendant (flashing red for disabled, solid green for running)
The primary input device. Freely moveable (not constrained to just N/S/E/W movement).
Depending on mode, the joystick moves the axes or controls spindle and feedrate overrides.
Features a switch that is activated by depressing the joystick knob. This is used to switch jogging modes and move the pendant between "enable" and "disabled" modes
