A vintage set of L.S. Starrett screw pitch gauges.
They have No. 279 on them, but that number appears to be wrong, as that number is for a radius gauge.
Here's what is on three of the 28 leaves:
On the side they have 'The L.S. Starrett Co' 'ATHOL. MASS. U.S.A.' 'No. 279.'
I'm sure you guys/gals know what they measure.
In excellent, used condition, they have a nice old 'sheen' which you cannot see in the photo. Leaves all move smoothly.
