The ARL-48 3-point hitch Category I and ARP (pull type) aerators are the ideal machines for final preparation and reseeding lawns. The heavy 3 x 3/8 inch teeth are welded to a 15 inch drum that can be filled with water. The one inch axle on the drum rotates in grease able pillar block bearings. The teeth open the soil for lawn or pasture reseeding which allows moisture and air to get to the roots. The penetration to the roots allow quicker water absorption, better fertilizer application and provides loose soil for reseeding.
