Harper-goosen SB1300 straw blower w/12' hose,demo unit
This was purchased "by accident" for use on a dairy in Feb. 2010 to process straw or prairie hay for cattle feed. Decided over the weekend I didn't want to do it, but Harper wouldn't let me back out. It is a demo unit, very limited use, and I only used it for about 15 bales. It does a good job for what it is designed for, blowing a covering or mulch over an area, esp newly seeded ground such as lawns. It was not an efficient use of our time to use this on the dairy. Portable. Process about 2 bales per minute. 12 foot hose for discharge. Honda 13 HP gas engine, which I understand are very dependable. Electric start.
